As a native of California, I received my B.A. with distinction from California State University in 1996 and earned my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, also with distinction, from Pepperdine University in 2000. I spent eight years as a children’s social worker, investigating allegations of child abuse before moving to Texas to pursue my law degree. I earned my Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in 2009 and subsequently worked for prominent Houston attorney Michael T. Gallagher. I am admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
With a specialized focus on appellate law, I handle briefs, motions, and research across all areas of personal injury law. Research and writing tasks demand significant time and attention to detail. Therefore, I offer fast, affordable, and high-quality research, writing, and analysis services on a contract basis to attorneys, allowing them to concentrate on tasks that require their personal attention
My expertise provides an appellate perspective to legal analysis and issue framing, ensuring that critical issues are preserved for potential appeal and that errors are noted at each stage of the litigation process.
My comprehensive services include:
Conducting thorough legal research and drafting briefs or memoranda on legal and factual questions.
Preparing a variety of pretrial, trial, and post-trial motions and pleadings.
My practice is committed to delivering meticulous and reliable work, enabling attorneys to focus on client interactions and court preparations, while ensuring robust appellate support.
